Terms of Use

Updated 17.08.2026

1. Who provides the service

HANC Studio (studio.hanc.ai) is a service of Good Point GmbH, Liechtensteinstraße 63/10, 1090 Vienna, Austria, the same company that operates hanc.ai. Referred to below as "we" and "the Studio". Contact: support@hanc.ai.

2. What the Studio does

The Studio is a builder for voice agents. You describe the job in words and attach documents or a link to your website; the Studio assembles the conversation as a workflow graph, checks it against its rules and a test call, and publishes the agent into your HANC account. The published agent, the telephony and the real calls live in HANC and are governed by the HANC terms.

3. Acceptance

By registering or using the Studio you confirm that you have read these terms and accept them. If you act for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Studio.

4. Your account

  • An account is created with an email address and a password, or through "Sign in with HANC AI".
  • Registration may require email confirmation and a bot check.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account.
  • One person, one account; access may not be passed to third parties.
  • The service is built for professional use and is not intended for anyone under 16.
  • We may restrict or close access if these terms are breached, if payment fails, or if the security of the service is at risk.

5. Credits and payment

  • Work in the Studio is paid for with credits; prices and balances are shown in euro.
  • Credits are bought through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never receive or store them.
  • Credits are spent on assembling and editing workflows, on test calls, and on other operations that consume model and telephony resources. The cost of an operation is shown in the interface.
  • A starter credit, where granted, is given once and is not payable in money.
  • Purchased credits remain valid while the account is active; they are not exchangeable for money and cannot be transferred between accounts.
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise; VAT is added under the applicable rules and shown on the invoice.
  • Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By spending credits before that period ends you ask us to begin performance immediately; credits already spent are not refunded.

6. Your material and our rights

  • The descriptions, documents, texts and workflows you upload or create in the Studio remain yours.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store and process them exactly as far as running the service requires: assembly, verification, publication, support, backups.
  • We do not use your material to train models and do not pass it to third parties other than the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.
  • The platform, its code, interface, system prompts, role templates and reference workflow library are ours. Using the service grants you no rights in them.

7. What you may not do

  • Break the law or infringe the rights of others, including sector and telecommunications rules.
  • Call people without a lawful basis: cold calls without consent, spam, auto-dialling purchased lists.
  • Hide from the person on the line that they are talking to artificial intelligence, or present the agent as a specific human being.
  • Let the agent make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person without human oversight.
  • Upload special category data — health, biometrics, criminal records and the like — without a lawful basis and a separate agreement with us.
  • Circumvent limits and protections, reverse-engineer the service, extract system prompts or models, or place load that harms other customers.

Where use endangers people, the law or the service itself, we suspend access immediately.

8. Artificial intelligence: what we promise and what we do not

  • Workflows are assembled by generative models. The output is probabilistic and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
  • The built-in checks — graph validation, simulations, the test call — reduce the risk but do not replace your review.
  • You are responsible for reviewing a workflow before publishing it and for what the agent says to your customers.
  • You are responsible for disclosing the use of AI where the law requires it, including the EU AI Act.

9. Data protection roles

For your working material and for the data of the people your agents talk to, you are the controller and we act as processor on your instructions. For your own account data we are the controller. The detail is in the Privacy Policy; a data processing agreement is available on request at support@hanc.ai.

10. Availability

We aim for continuous operation but do not guarantee it: maintenance happens, and model and telephony providers fail. Some features ship as beta — they are marked as such and may change or be withdrawn. A guaranteed availability level applies only where it has been agreed in a separate contract.

11. Warranty and liability

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, reputational harm or indirect damage.
  • Aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service in the twelve months before the event.
  • These limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or liability that cannot be limited by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by writing to support@hanc.ai. We may terminate with 30 days’ notice, or immediately on a material breach. On termination access closes and data is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy; agents already published into your HANC account stay with you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the interface at least 30 days before they take effect; continued use after that date means acceptance. The date of the current revision is shown at the top of this page.

14. Governing law and disputes

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. For businesses the exclusive venue is the competent court in Vienna. For consumers the mandatory venue rules of their country of residence apply. EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
